The Winter Showcase includes student works in language arts, social studies, science and reading. Student performances will include “Poetic Prodigies" spoken word, dancers and cheerleaders, and the Drama Team’s modern rendition of "A Christmas Carol." The school is collecting unwrapped toys for needy children in the community in partnership with the Miramar Fire Department. Ribbon Cutting for the Confucius Institute

Cypress Bay High School’s Confucius Classroom Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will include Chinese-themed entertainment and a reception. The Plantation Zone Holiday Showcase

The second annual Holiday Zone Showcase is hosted by Plantation High School, Plantation Middle School, and Central Park, Peters, Sawgrass and Mirror Lake elementary schools. During the Holiday Zone Showcase choral and band performances from all the zone schools will perform, and Plantation High School’s International Baccalaureate students will display their art work. Mobile Food Pantry Market Place

Just in time for the holiday season, Orange Brook Elementary, in partnership with the Mobile Food Pantry, will distribute fresh fruits and vegetables and non-perishable foods to families in the community. For more information, contact Principal Zaida Prendes, 754-323-6756.
