Coral Springs High School Auditorium

When: Tuesday, February 24, 2015 – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. 

Coral Springs High School hosts BCPS LEEO Expo, where 13 middle and high school LEEO programs will showcase their work. LEEO, which stands for Linking Education and Employment Outcomes, offers computer instruction and employability skills, providing students with the opportunity to compete in a technologically advanced global society. Mock Interview Blitz

When: Friday, February 27, 2015 – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

The Career, Technical, Adult and Community Education Department will host its first Mock Interview Blitz to help BCPS Academy students prepare for upcoming paid internship interviews, as well as future college and career interviews. This is part of a larger continuum of work-based learning opportunities designed to help students gain experience and insight into real-world careers. World Languages High School Academic Competition 
Western High School

When: Saturday, February 28, 2015 – 8 a.m. – noon 

Students from across the District will come together to compete in the World Languages High School Academic Competition in various categories including, declamation, impromptu speaking, talent, skit presentation, original play presentation, new media and visual arts. Over 900 students will be in attendance for this exciting opportunity to demonstrate their levels of second language proficiency and cultural awareness in one of the nine languages offered by BCPS.
