Students needing to retake an End-of-Course (EOC) exam over the summer in Algebra, Biology, Geometry, U.S. History and/or Civics must sign-up for the exams during the registration window taking place Tuesday, June 10, 2014 – Wednesday, June 18, 2014
. The Summer EOC exams will be administered during the week of July 21–
25, 2014, at designated schools across the District.
The Summer EOC exam administration is voluntary. Students needing to retake EOC exams will have additional opportunities to test during the Fall and Winter test administration windows. Students scoring at Achievement Level 1 or 2 on the Algebra EOC should consider taking the Summer EOC administration. Earning an Achievement Level of 3 or higher on the Algebra EOC is a graduation requirement beginning with the Class of 2014/15. Additionally, students whose EOC exam scores were invalidated or who missed their scheduled Spring EOC exams, may also consider taking the EOC in the summer.
Students and parents may view their 2013/14 EOC exam scores, and register for specific EOC exam dates and testing locations by logging into the District’s Virtual Counselor and selecting the "Register for Summer EOC" option from the Student Information dropdown menu.
Please note: Only Algebra, U.S. History and Civics EOC exam scores from the Spring 2014 administration have been released by the state. Geometry and Biology EOC exam scores are forthcoming.
