First Day of Schools News Conference

Superintendent Robert W. Runcie ends a busy first day of school with a news conference to discuss the start of the 2017/18 school year. The Superintendent's day began with meeting school bus operators at the Central Transportation Terminal in Oakland Park at 5:30 a.m., before boarding a school bus to welcome students to the first day of school. The Superintendent will discuss his visits to several schools throughout the District and what's new this school year.
