The 2015 Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) College Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 20,2015, at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, from 5 - 8 p.m. The BCPS College Fair is free and open to the public.

As Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) celebrates 100 years of educational excellence this 2015/16 school year, it also honors Choose Peace/Stop Violence Week, September 21 – 25, 2015. The weeklong celebration, in partnership with the Children’s Services Council and United Way of Broward County, aims to spread messages of peace, create environments that are free from bullying and violence, and promote tolerance and positive change.

In 1915, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) was established. Today, September 1, 2015, The School Board of Broward County, Florida recognized its 100th anniversary in a special Centennial Celebration kickoff ceremony. The ceremony honored the District’s commitment to educational excellence and showcased the important role of BCPS in the lives of past, present and future students.  
 

All Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and District Offices will be OPEN on Monday, August 31, 2015. Parents, students and staff are advised to exercise caution as weather conditions resulting from the storm will vary across the county.
