    Message from Mrs. Hall

    Greetings Parkside Families (updated 10/8/2021),

This past week our wonderful PTA held our first book fair for the year. I want to thank the group of volunteers who were able to come in and help out with this event. It really takes a lot of man/woman power in order for this to be a success. The students were all able to come in and purchase items throughout the week. We know this year we were unable to have parents come in with your children and this is usually a big event. We are hoping in the Spring, we can make arrangements in order to have families come in and participate with their children. Nonetheless, the Book Fair was a huge success. It was the BEST they have had in the past 3 or 4 years. Thanks again PTA.

PTA also has planned a fundraising event on October 20th from 12-8 pm. Monster Mini Golf will be giving back 50% to our schools. What a fun way to go out and enjoy some time with your friends and families and give back to our school. A flyer is attached if you receive this through email. Next week they also will be bringing back the Friday cart. Students can bring in money to purchase items if they would like. This will star October 15th.

Just a friendly reminder that when you are coming in to attend a conference or pick up your child, you must have a valid drivers license or picture id. We MUST scan this documents when we are dismissing students.

Over the next few weeks, we will be having some special events as we get closer to Halloween. Please be on the lookout for Red Ribbon information as well as Halloween Parade. We know how important curriculum is for your children, but it is also important to take a small break and have some fun activities embedded into our days. We hope your children all participate.

Please check out our monthly newsletter on our website. https://bit.ly/2Y9CEAh

Thank you all for continuing to support our school. Thanks for being a part of Parkside where Small Hands can Change the World in a Big Way.
