    Message from Mrs. Hall

    Greetings Parkside Families (updated 10/8/2020),

Thank you for yet another successful week of online learning.  We continue to be proud of our students and staff.  We continue to get better and better at this whole process.

As many of you are all aware, the school board voted yesterday at the emergency meeting to begin phasing in students the end of next week.  There has also been a slight adjustment to the school calendar.  On Thursday, October 8th this will be an employee planning day.  No school for students.  On Friday, October 9th we will begin to bring in the Pre-K to 2nd grade and ESE special programs.  This is just for the students who have elected to return to school per the survey.  On October 12th, there will be a Early Release Day. October 13th, the remainder of the grades 3-5 will return face to face again if they have selected that option.  October 14th is an Early Release Day, October 15th is a full day and 10/16th is a Early Release Day.    I will continue to send out updates throughout the next few weeks. Please remember when students return to campus there will be some important messages next week as we prepare to open.  Also, for those students returning to campus, you will be following CDC guidelines and we will have some different procedures for arrival and dismissal that will be coming out to parents who are returning.  Please make sure all of your emergency numbers are up to date.  Check out this website for more information

A big thank you to our PTA for installing the vinyl multiplication facts on the stairwells and they will be doing some things in the cafe as well.  We are so excited to have these.  Below are a few links about the upcoming book fair.  Also remember you can purchase your PTA school spirit shirts.

Please check out newsletter on our website or click on the link.

Thanks for all that you do for our school and Thanks for being a part of Parkside Where we are Proud to be Panthers.

    Laneia Hall, Principal
