Principal's Message

  • Gittelman

Welcome to the 2nd Quarter! It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Principal of Plantation Park Elementary for the past 12.5 years.  I feel extremely fortunate to be working with such an exceptional group of students, teachers, staff, families, and community members.

I want to extend a special welcome to the newest members of our PPE community.   At Plantation Park Elementary, we focus on providing every student a safe and positive learning environment where continued growth for a high quality education is our main goal.  We have an A+ faculty and staff who are talented, innovative, and committed to our school’s mission statement, “Providing our students a safe environment that fosters 21st Century lifelong learners.”

Plantation Park Elementary is a 34-year recipient of the Golden School Award for volunteer hours.  These honors exemplify the commitment through strong parent and community support.  With some 550 students, we are small enough to combine a very personal understanding of every child’s unique gifts.  When visiting, it will give you a sense of warmth and a better understanding of our commitment to our students.  Please consider becoming more involved in our school by being a volunteer.

I invite you to take time to review our website as it contains important resources for our families. We are constantly updating and adding information that will assist parents and students as we progress through this school year.  If you haven’t already, please “LIKE” our Facebook page (Plantation Park Elementary School) and follow us on Twitter (twitter.com/PlantationParkE).

Please know that my door is ALWAYS open to you!

“Seas the day!  Make today ridiculously amazing!”

    Your Proud Principal,

    Julie Gittelman
