Silver Shores Elementary Before & Aftercare Program
"The Greatest Corner in the Universe" has the Greatest Before/Aftercare Program Ever!!
Costs to parents are minimal. These are not drop in programs, parents pay in advance a prorated amount. Children receive care every day the school is open including early release days.
School Board Operated programs currently charge parents a $25.00 registration fee for each family A family is one child or more. The fee is paid at the entry into the program and again for any re-entry throughout the school year.
Tuition for our aftercare program is $198.00 per payment period for a total of ten payments. Fees are paid in advance for services and are due on the given date. If payment is not made on time, students are withdrawn from the program.

The Before Care program has an additional cost of $23.00 per payment period.

Remember, all payments must be made prior to the start of payment period.
If payment is not made by due date, child is withdrawn from program and a re-registration fee must be paid to re-enter program. All late pick up fees must be paid before the next payment period. If not paid, the fees will become an obligation attached to the student's financial records.

Your child will have the opportunity to have supper, do their homework with assistance, and then participate in several scheduled activities. These will include an academic enhancement, a technology session, creative play or dramatic arts, outdoor activity to enhance fitness and a free choice.

• Before Care hours are from 7:00am-7:30am
• After Care hours are from 2:00pm - 6:00pm and from 12:00pm-6:00pm on early release days.
• A late pick up fee is charged if students are not picked up by program close time.
All children must be registered in the program before attending. Registration forms need to be completed each year for each child. Registration fee is $25 per family with a family being one child or more. Waiting lists might occur when groups have reached the ratio capacity. As soon as new staff is in place, parents will be contacted.
If a student is absent for nine days without program notification, the student will be withdrawn and no refund given. If parent withdraws their child from the program, a refund will be given for any unused days in the payment period.
As per School Board Policy 3411 and the Constitution of the State of Florida, Article VII, Section 10, ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ATTENDANCE PERIOD. IF PAYMENT IS NOT PAID BY PAYABLE DATE, CHILD (REN) WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE PROGRAM AND A RE-REGISTRATION FEE WILL NEED TO BE PAID BEFORE RE-ENTERING THE PROGRAM.
