Anonymous Donor Pledges $10,000 Scholarship
An anonymous donor is providing a scholarship to Hollywood Hills High School graduates who attend a college, university, or vocational school.
The scholarship is $10,000 and is distributed over the course of the year. This scholarship will enriched the lives of HHHS grads and provided them with the opportunity to attend a college or vocational school.
In making the gift, the donor, a Hollywood Hills alum, conveyed to High School officials his/her belief that recipients should typify students who treat and value each other as members of a close-knit community, and who, through dedication, community service and academic excellence serve to make Hollywood Hills High School and our community a better place.
Lourdes Gonzalez, Principal of Hollywood Hills High School, said, “this gift, given by an anonymous donor, is simply an awesome endowment; it will support Hollywood Hills High School students who demonstrate a commitment to community service and excellence in scholarship."
“I would like to thank the donor. This person’s decision to remain nameless is a wonderful gesture and a genuine and generous approach to supporting Hollywood Hills High School and serving the public good.”
Details about the scholarship and the application procedures are available at the links above.
Those wishing to contribute to the fund may send checks payable to Hollywood Hills High School to the Office of the Bookkeeper, 5400 Stirling Road, Hollywood, Florida, 33021.
