Mr. Markis Facyson
I am honored to be part of the Lauderdale Lakes Community. To serve where you grew up is a humbling experience. I look forward to meeting our new students and your families as we embrace the opportunity to build an engaging and memorable middle school experience.
I am also proud to say that I’m a Rutgers University graduate. My education, coupled with my love for kids, has inspired me to join the teaching profession. As I enter my 2nd year, I am fortunate to have had a variety of opportunities and support to prepare me for this one of a kind platform. After ten years of teaching, my career path led me into administration. I look forward to building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. I am committed to ensuring that every Lauderdale Lakes Middle School student receives the very best education possible, and that all students and their families realize they are an important part of our success. We will strive to provide a safe and supportive learning environment. My belief is that every child can and will learn if given the right opportunities. Working together as a team with our staff and parents, I am committed to helping each student achieve their very best. Together we will continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities and a culture of academic excellence for our students.
Please know that my door is always open. Feel free to stop in, call, or email me to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this year the best year yet! I feel truly blessed to be the instructional leader of such a special school community.
Proud to be a Viking,
