Ms. Krystal R. Coke
6th Grade Assistant Principal
Greetings Margate Spartans,
I am honored and excited to be with the Margate Middle School family as the 6th grade Assistant Principal. I look forward to creating new relationships with all of you as we embark on this new school year. At Margate Middle School, our students are prepared to be 21st century thinkers using critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication to develop their decision-making and problem-solving skills. Parental support is an essential component of a student’s success in middle school. The collaboration with the staff, students, families, and community members at Margate creates an environment that is conducive to the development of the “whole child”.
I have 14 years of educational experience all at the middle school level. I earned both a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. My service as a math teacher and background experiences allowed me to develop a passion for challenging and motivating my students to strive to achieve beyond their perceived potential. Throughout my career I have developed and implemented academic and behavior systems that support teaching and learning at every level.
I look forward to meeting everyone and working together to support the Spartan mission! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns. We're going to have a great year!
Mr. Rod Daniel

Dear Margate Family,
Margate S.T.E.M. Magnet Middle school is a dynamic and innovative learning environment with highly dedicated, highly-qualified teachers, staff and enthusiastic learners. It is my great pleasure to be a part of this phenomenal middle school. I am committed to ensuring that every child and his/her family finds this a nurturing, positive environment whereby the very best, high quality, technology-rich education is accomplished.
I have 19 years of educational experience. Preceding my administrative career, I developed a high-tech learning environment by melding Literacy, Language Arts and Journalism curriculum with technology, for a successful Media Communications suite of electives. Prior to creating electives, I taught Language Arts. I earned my degrees through study at Boise State University, The State University of New York at Buffalo and Florida Atlantic University, having attained a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership as my highest degree.
I firmly believe that all children are precious and as such, deserve my best care and guidance, as they move through their educational career. If there is ever anything I can do to assist in making this middle school experience an even better one, do not hesitate to call on me. I am at the service to the school community.
