What is the PTSA?

  • pta-logo PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Students Association. It is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and students/staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a public or private school. The mission and goal of the PTSA is to support their schools, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organize family events.

    Strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
    Serve as a type of forum where parents, teachers, administrators, and other concerned adults discuss ways to promote quality education, strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for a healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.
