MTL -Mentoring Tomorrow's Leaders
MTL is a peer-to-peer mentoring, student leadership and educational re-engagement program which serves youth who are at-risk for not graduating and/or remaining in school. The program aims to increase graduation rates and decrease dropout rates, particularly among minority males.
MTL is based on five pillars.
- Academic Achievement
- Family Involvement
- Community Support
MTL Mentors and Mentees were at STEM Fest with Captain Barrington Irving. Students participated in various interactive STEM activities, received multiple prizes to include an autographed copy of Captain Irving's book and met with the captain and School Board Member, Rosalind Osgood.
