    SADD students Hollywood Hills High School offers its students a wide-range of activities. Below are descriptions of most of our clubs and activities.  Check out the following clubs to see which ones may interest you. Being part of a school club or activity enhances the high school experience, and HHHS has numerous clubs to join.  

    We have a vibrant and always expanding Club community at Hills.  The clubs listed here showcase the wide range of interests of our students.  Additional opportunities will be communicated throughout the school year.  Hollywood Hills teachers and staff encourage all students to get involved.

    Robotics Club We thank our club and program sponsors for making these experiences possible.  The commitment of our dedicated teacher and staff sponsors is amazing.   We thank them for helping to educate our future and for giving of themselves beyond the school day for club sponsorships and mentoring.  The extra-curricular and co-curricular experiences of our club members and program participants enhance our students’ capabilities and their college and career preparedness.  These significant efforts also ensure student success all through the year.  We sincerely appreciate the efforts of our teachers and staff to bringing educational clubs, projects, and initiatives that enhance & enliven the high school extra-curriculum experience and promote excellence in Hollywood Hills High School.

    ART

    Opportunities abound to explore and practice your love of artistic expression with meetings and activities!  Advisor--Mr. Samuel Herring

    CULINARY

    The purpose of the Culinary Club is to provide an environment for students to, socialize, be creative, learn cooking skills, and have fun. Advisor--Mr. Frank Leonardi

    DEBATE

    Students sharpen skills in public speaking, oral interpretation, and formal debate through meetings and practices, then compete with other high school teams. Advisor--Ms. Emonde Prosper                                

    DECA

    DECA (An Association of Marketing Students) is an integral part of the marketing and business curriculum and all marketing and business students are highly encouraged to join DECA.  Membership enables students to participate in DECA activities which include: competitions (Regional, State and International Career Development Conferences), field trips (leadership conferences, businesses), and community service.  Members are eligible to receive National DECA and Florida DECA scholarships. Advisor--Ms. Kimberly Saunders

    DRAMA

    Join the Drama  for a year of shows, events, and improv! Advisor--Ms. Emonde Prosper

    ECOLOGY

    Students seek to increase awareness of environmental issues and take action to make a positive impact. Advisor--Mr. Paul Massari-Fetscher

    FIRST PRIORITY

    A student-led Christian organization.  Open to anyone who would like to join.  Study the Bible, fellowship, and pray together.  First Priority exists to provide fellowship and encouragement as students study the Bible and pray together, striving to live holy lives, reaching out with compassion and love to those around them. Advisor--Ms. Lekesha Rivers-Ingram

    FUTURE EDUCATORS OF AMERICA

    This club raises awareness of career opportunities in the field of education. Advisor--Ms. Susan Rosales

    GAY/STRAIGHT ALLIANCE   

    A safe place for students of all sexual orientations to come and be themselves. The club discusses current equality issues, gay rights history, and other relevant issues.

    JEWISH STUDENT UNION

    JSU is designed to strengthen Jewish identity, build Jewish pride and provide an opportunity for Jewish learning and interaction between and among students of High School.  Advisor--Mr. Jose Morejon

    KEY CLUB

    A student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Advisor--Ms. Susan Rosales

    LITERARY MAGAZINE

    The Literary magazine is an organization for students who enjoy writing poetry; short stories or essays; reading; drawing; and editing.  Members select from materials submitted by students for publication, prepare the layout of the magazine and publish the literary annual The Knot.  All students are eligible for membership on this club.

    MEDICAL SOCIETY

    Students participate in monthly meetings that include learning about the medical field. Advisor--Mr. William Davis

    NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

    The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.  More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  The NHS provides a wide range of service opportunities and social events during the course of the year. Advisor--Dr. Iris Payan

    PEACE CLUB

    The Peace club is a great way to help you connect and organize with other interested in peace. Advisor--Ms. Carmen Natal

    SECME FIRST ROBOTICS

    The goal of this student organization is to engage and encourage students to apply engineering concepts in the design and fabrication of robotic prototypes and represent our school and our engineering and science programs in different high school-level contests. Advisor--Ms. Michelle Avila

    SADD

    Student-led organization dedicated to empowering young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them in their daily lives. Advisor--Ms. Rachel Silber

    SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY

    Spanish National Honor Society is an honor society and service organization for students of good character who have shown exceptional scholarship in Spanish and Portuguese, and in all their classes.  The group meets regularly to share interest in the Spanish culture and to perform public service.  The Spanish National Honor Society hosts service activities and cultural events.     SPARTAN TV PRODUCTION(STV)

    The club is led by an industry professional who teaches students practical skills in recording and editing video. Students’ short films have won many prizes at the local and regional levels. Advisor--Mr. Jeffery Freeman

    SPARTAN LITERACY SOCIETY

    The Literary Society is a place where students can meet to read and write.  Club members meet to discuss books and the craft of writing.  The Literary Club is more than just a club for reading and writing; it is also a place where students can come to share their insights on topics of interest to members.  Open to everyone with a passion for reading, writing, and creativity.     SPOKEN WORD  

    Spoken Word is a poetry and writing club which performs everything from traditional poetry to spoken word and slam poetry.

    STUDENTS WORKING AGAINST TOBACCO

    SWAT is to provide a means by which the young people of Broward County may develop a coordinated and unified assault on tobacco. SWAT will also provide young people with the chance to be advocates and get involved within their state, region, and community. Advisor--Cathy Kontsis

    WOMEN OF TOMORROW

    Women of Tomorrow is about women helping women.  Highly accomplished professional women meet with girls to discuss ways to overcome obstacles and to provide skills for success. Advisor--Ms. Rachel Silber

    WOODWORKING

    Provides members with a safe, well-equipped facility where they are able to develop and practice the art and skill of woodworking. Advisor--Mr. Paul Massari-Fetscher

    YEARBOOK

    The Yearbook Club is responsible for producing the annual Hollywood Hills High School yearbook.  Students have the opportunity to study basic photography, layout, design, and distribution. Advisor--Mr. Bryan Trimas
