Through dual enrollment with Florida International University and Broward College presently, students can earn up to 30-college credits without having to leave the school’s campus. Yearly, the chorus, music, art, ROTC, and athletic programs produce students who earn scholarships to national colleges and universities. The faculty, staff, administrators, local businesses, and city officials work together to offer the students learning opportunities in school, as well as, off campus. The team’s goal is to help every student graduate high school, college and career ready to compete in a changing world.

Boyd H. Anderson High is a safe school. We address issues that may seem trivial to students, such as proper dress code; being in class on time ready to learn; and respect for oneself and others are nonnegotiable expectations. We have high expectations for all students regardless of ability level. We strive to help every student embrace a demanding curriculum that “pushes the envelope” thus preparing them for college and career. Hard work is the key to success in life.

Finally, I value the importance of strong communication. We use our robotic telephone system, school website, Pinnacle, school correspondence, and personal contact to keep our community informed. I look forward to working with you to ensure our students maximize their learning potentials.
