  • The Aviation Science Program is designed to prepare students interested in aviation for a variety of post- secondary programs leading to careers in the industry including commercial pilot, FAA certified mechanic, aviation administration and more. Students choose course options that will prepare them for college, post secondary technical programs, or various military careers. Depending upon the specific area of interest, academic courses are available at all levels of instruction, with students receiving core Aviation courses which include such topics as flight theory, navigation, aerodynamics, history of flight, and meteorology.

    Students will benefit from an array of speakers, field trips and unique opportunities for mentorships, partnerships and internships with local aviation businesses.
