Ms. Elie

Greetings panda families and Royal Palm community!

My name is Mrs. Elie and I am honored to be the Intern Principal at RPE STEM Museum Magnet School! I began my career at RPE as the Literacy Coach. I served in that capacity for 6 years before being appointed the Assistant Principal. I’m honored to work with so many dedicated, innovative, and caring staff members, parents, and scholars. It is my esteem privilege and passion to ensure that each day is filled with new educational experiences, learning and growing for all, providing opportunities to be a better us, and preparing our scholars to be college and career ready! This year our school will continue with the theme of T.E.A.M. “Together Everyone Achieves More” with a focus on Kindness to Self, Scholars, Staff, & School.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of every scholar that steps foot into the amazing RPE. We are very deliberate & intentional in addressing the social emotional and academic needs of all scholars as we prepare them for what lies ahead in their future. I believe that any scholar that steps foot into RPE will leave with an academic skill-set that has prepared them to successfully compete against other scholars globally. I professionally and personally strive to do the best that I can to ensure that no scholar settles for anything less than their best. I also strive to grow and fill my own educational toolbox to lead and make an impact in the lives of my scholars, staff, parents, and the community. With that being said, I am proud to announce that this fall, August 2019, I will be a doctoral scholar studying online at the University of Florida in Educational Leadership, Go Gators! I also believe that excellence is the standard and nothing less for those being educated and those educating in any capacity. The great words of Principal Baruti Kafele, “Is my school a better leader because I leader it?” I say ABSOLUTELY! It is my honor to serve our scholars, to serve our instructional leaders, and to serve YOU, our RPE families and communities!

The RPE TEAM is doing amazing things. Please Join us this 2019-2020 school year as we continue to strive for that “A” because we are on our way. I know as a TEAM, together, we will do it! As I end each morning announcement to my scholars and staff, with this saying “Today is a good day to have a good day” because nothing is more important than teaching and learning at RPE.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat, do not hesitate to reach out to me at 754-322-8350.
