    IMMINENT DANGER
    Threat/Incident to the facility, when best course of action is to keep everyone in place to include the School SAFE Team no exceptions.  The following are examples of incidents that could occur but are not limited to:

    Drive-by-Shooter (gang related), Active Killer, Possible weapon on campus, Terrorist Threat (3 Rings) Alternate to P.A.

    YELLOW: LIMITED MOVEMENT

    Threat/Incident to the facility, when the best course of action is to keep everyone in place but requires the School SAFE Team activation.  The following are examples of incidents that could occur but are not limited to:

    Neighborhood Incident, Home Invasion, Bank Robbery in progress-Police Directed (2 Rings) Alternate to P.A.

    BROWN: Shelter-in-Place/Evacuate/Lockdown

    BROWN: Shelter-in-place/Evacuate/Lockdown
    Threat/Incident to the facility, when the best course of action is to implement a shelter-in-place "chemical incident inside of the facility"; or that of an evacuation "chemical incident inside of the facility" (i.e. natural or propane gas leak).  Procedure depends on nature of the school emergency. 

    Examples: Chemical, Toxic Release, Explosion

    BLUE: MEDICAL EMERGENCY BLUE: MEDICAL EMERGENCY
    During a Code Red, Call 911.  During a Code Yellow notify an Administrator or SAFE Team member of the medical emergency.
    BLACK: BOMB THREAT

    BLACK: Bomb Threat
    EVACUATE FACILITY

    Safe Team and staff members search the school sie/building for suspicious items.  Upon verifying the threat is legitimate by the Incident Command Staff (ICS), evacuation will commence and calls are made over the P.A. system, use of Mega Phone, or Bell System.  (5 Rings) Alternate to P.A.

    GREEN: ALL CLEAR

    GREEN: ALL CLEAR

    A password has been generated to insure the legitimacy of the Incident Command Staff (ICS) or their designee giving the all clear code.  However, a code yellow down grade will be used prior to the ICS or designee calling the all clear when in a Code Red.

    ORANGE: EVACUATE

    ORANGE: EVACUATE
    WHEN A SITUATION WARRANTS BEYOND PREVIOUS CODES

    This code is mainly used in chemical situations.  Under a Code Brown to evacuate staff and students from the facility.  Example: School is under a Code Brown.  Fire department arrives and determines school needs to be evacuated.  Code Orange will be called with direction on where to evacuate to.
