Mental Health Awareness Month, May
-
BCPS observes Mental Health Awareness Month every May. Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental health illness. More than 1 in 5 Americans will be affected by a mental health condition in their lifetime and every American is affected or impacted through their friends and family. By observing Mental Health Awareness Month, we take action to help others by fighting stigma, providing support, educating the public and advocating for equal care. We are dedicated to taking action and raising awareness of mental health conditions so we can break down obstacles and improve recovery. Read more about the Raising Awareness toolkit or Raise Awareness campaign materials.
