In middle school, there are two Career and Technical Education (CTE) options: Digital Tools and CTE Pathways

Digital Tool programs focus on giving students computer and technical skills through certification in IC3 Digital Literacy. Students acquire technical computer skills which are integrated into other contents such as ELA and Reading.

Middle schools host a variety of High School CTE Pathways such as Business Education, Entrepreneurship, and Engineering. The most common Industry Certification offered through middle school CTE Pathways is the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Bundle Certification. These middle school options not only certify that a student has acquired the computer/technical skills learned, but also give them a head start on their High School CTE pathway.
