• At Apollo Middle School, we are proud of our comprehensive parental involvement program designed to strengthen the home-school connection. We combine the monthly School Advisory Council (SAC) and PTSA Meetings into one convenient evening.  Each evening begins with our SAC meeting at 6:00 P.M. and is followed by PTSA meeting.

    We are recruiting SAC membership and we need your help! 

    The School Advisory Council positions include:

    -School Advisory Council Chairperson

    -School Advisory Council Secretary

    -School Advisory Council members (must consist of a minimum of 12 School Advisory Council officers and members)

     School Advisory Council Composition Requirements

    -Must consist of officers and officers (twelve members in total) meeting monthly  

    -Parents representatives should consist of 51% of the School Advisory Council membership

    -Innovation Zone representative (must be a parent elected after School Advisory Council is formed)

    -ESOL representative (must be a parent of a student an English Language Learners student)
    -ESE representative (must be a parent of an Exceptional Student E student)
    -Gifted representative (must be a parent of a Gifted student at the school)
