ESY Extended School Year Program

  • Extended School Year (ESY) Program

  • The Extended School Year (ESY) Program is designed for students with disabilities whose IEP committee determines, during the school year, that a student requires continued programming during the summer months in order to maintain skills acquired during the regular school year.  In order for a student to attend the ESY Program, a student must have been made eligible by their school’s IEP committee based on data collected by the school and individual needs.  Each students ESY Program is individualized and based on the amount of documented ESE services, reflected on their IEP, that they receive during the regular school year.
