Programs focus on teaching the whole child through a variety of entertaining, educational and fun activities, while helping each child explore his or her passions.     Students participate in various learning, enrichment and physical activities. These include reading, mathematics, art, music, science, Spanish, technology, sports, board games, water days, relay races and much more! 

    Free breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday.

    Coral Park Elementary’s certified teachers and paraprofessionals will lead these classes.

This year, our central camp theme is "Showcase of the Arts." Each week, campers embark on a journey of discovery about different aspects of the arts. We are a School Board operated program.     Flamingo Summer Academy

    The campers have three hours of daily academic activities to review skills learned in their previous grade and introduce them to skills they will be expected to master in their next grade. They practice reading, writing and math through integrated themes. Also, 3rd-5th also graders have an opportunity to compete in online learning game competitions through a fun and engaging website called Dimension U. Camp includes Splash Day once per week. Students are scheduled for a large variety of activities such as art, music, team sports, drama, computers, indoor games and STEM (science, technology, engineering & math).

Our camp enjoys swimming at nearby Bamford Park. We have on-campus field trips such as gardening and ceramic fun. We also have off-campus field trips which include new movie releases.

    Students immerse in hands-on and minds-on learning while designing, building and programming robots. Rocket launches and drone challenges also await our campers who will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling and conducting experiments in the realm of biotechnology and forensics.

    Champs Summer Camp “Making Dreams Come True” Magical Kingdom Edition

    Champs Summer Camp is an exciting, fun-filled summer experience with a Disney Magical Kingdom theme, encouraging students to "dream big" and to "reach for the stars." Campers participate in engaging, exciting, high energy, creative and entertaining activities. Events and activities include field trips, cooking, special events, contests, indoor and outdoor games, video gaming, talent shows, arts and crafts, swimming and dancing. Campers also have the opportunity to participate in community service projects. Free breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. Open to students of Broward and neighboring counties.

    Students learn game design, robotics, Minecraft, coding, apps, rocket launch simulation, and an introduction to drones. Student volunteers ensure a high teacher/student ratio. Campers go outside in the morning and afternoon for some "unplugged" time. This is our 10th year of camp.

    Silver Palms Summer Camp 2019

    This year's camp includes an academic program during the morning portion of our day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, students engage in activities and on-campus field trips. 

    The academic portion of our students' day is full of fun projects, instructional lessons, competitions and hands-on experiments. There is a focus on literacy, math, and STEM-based projects. Campers engage in cutting-edge activities that improve their academic skills.

    Afternoon centers are themed-based and involve indoor and outdoor organized fun activities. Fridays are filled with special events and programs from School Board approved vendors. Four out-going field trips and four in-school field trips. Wednesdays are designated swimming days at the Towngate Pool, which is located directly adjacent to the school.

    Camp registration begins on April 8th between the hours of 11:00am – 6:00pm. We fill our summer camp up by one group per grade level with a cap of twenty students per group. The $25.00 registration fee is due at this time and is non-refundable. The first week’s payment is due by June 3.

    Gifted Summer Camp at the Gifted Academy

    Plantation High School’s two-week summer camp for the gifted provides a learning environment that values and enhances the gifted student’s ability, creativity, and passion for learning. 

    Every student who is accepted will be exposed to S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, math) course, math games, creative writing coding and sports.

    Student immerse in one of the following Humanities courses:

    Camp Tropical

    Tropical Elementary School

    Camp Tropical offers two exciting programs, one for incoming K-5th grade and another for incoming 6th-8th grade students. 

    Our K-5 Camp Tropical group offers exciting weekly themes with on/off campus field trips, arts and crafts, computer labs, indoor and outdoor play areas and a large basketball court. Campers go swimming each week. The camp has a digital video game room with many XBOX and Nintendo Switch games. Campers participate in weekly academic activities in math and reading as well. 

    Our 6th-8th grade group is called the Panther Adventure Camp. Students go on 3-4 field trips per week to local locations throughout South Florida. Trips include zoos, museums, pool, bowling, skating, Miami Marlins game, Miami Heat Summer Bash and much more. Call to get our flyer for a complete list of trips on our website.

    Free breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday with campers bringing a bagged lunch on Friday from June 10-July 26. No food services will be provided the last week, July 29th-August 2nd.

    Both programs are run by experienced staff from our school and aftercare program.
