Face Covering Policy
One of The School Board's highest priorities is to ensure the health and safety of its community, including employees, students, and the public. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides guidance, and the Florida Department of Heath (FDOH) advises that people who may be infected with Covid-19 (whether symptomatic or pre-symptomatic) play an important part in the reducing community spread. The use of face coverings by everyone can limit release of infected droplets when talking, coughing and/or sneezing.
It is for this reason, it is policy that each student, employee, visitor, vendor or other person are always required to properly wear a face covering while at or inside a school/facility, or other vehicle owned, leased or operated by The School Board. View the Face Covering Policy to learn more.
Are you BCPS staff with questions on how to handle students and Face Covering Policy violations? View the frequently asked questions (FAQ) flyer below to learn more.
