2021/22 Phase I Application Window Closed
The 2021/22 Phase I application window closed February 8, 2021.
All requests/documents received before the application deadline (February 8th, 11:59 p.m.) will be honored as on-time complete applications.
The Phase II application window opens May 3, 2021.
Email Responses Delayed
Due to the high volume of requests, email responses are delayed. Please do not send duplicate requests, as we are working as quickly as possible to respond.
2021/22 Application Window is December 1, 2020 at 8 a.m. through February 8, 2021
All District School Choice applications submitted during an open application window will be processed after the application window closes. This is NOT a first come, first served process. Visit How to Apply (Next Year) for more information.
2020/2021 Application Window Closed
The 2020/2021 Application window closed August 5, 2020. Applications are no longer accepted for the 2020/2021 school year, unless for one of the following exceptions:
- BCPS Employees
- Active Duty Military Personnel
- Leave of Absence
- Parkland Choice Area
- School Completion (moved out of the school boundary)

Students Awarded A Seat
Anyone who claimed and registered for their awarded seat by the deadline date, should be attending classes by now. If not, your seat is subject to being forfeited.
Students Not Awarded A Seat
Students not awarded a Magnet, Nova, or Reassignment seat must register at their assigned school to begin the 2020/21 school year.
