Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. As we reopen Broward County Public Schools for learning, the District’s number one priority continues to be keeping its students, teachers, and staff healthy and safe. BCPS is doing everything possible to support student success and close any learning gaps that may have resulted from school closures.
A good example is the District’s effort to close the “digital divide” and ensure students have the tools they need to navigate eLearning. To date, BCPS has distributed nearly 100,000 devices to students who needed them to continue learning and worked with Internet service providers to give families low-cost access to the Internet along with hot spots to ensure the Web is accessible to everyone.
The resources included in this section provide support and services students may need as they return to school in the eLearning environment, as well as links to specific tools related to technical support, tips on accessing CANVAS, and the Code of Student Conduct. Please refer to this page often as new and updated information will be provided when it is available.
Training and Webinars. The District has implemented multiple tools to support parents and students with BCPS eLearning. We also provide families with access to workshops and resources that support learning from home.
