    2020-2021 VPK/Enrichment Registration Process

    If you received an email stating your child's Enrollment Status is: Selected into the VPK/Enrichment program for the 2020-2021 school year, please do the following:

    Step 1. Log in to the BCPS -VPK Parent Portal and accept the seat

    Now that you have accepted your child's seat the next step is to read, complete, electronically sign and upload the following documents to the BCPS -VPK Parent Portal:

    Step 2. Check your email for a PDF copy of the signed document

    Step 3. Upload the documentation to the "Parent Uploads" section within your account on the BCPS -VPK Parent Portal

    Step 4. Please contact your assigned school to complete your child's registration


    Required Health Documents

    • Original (up-to-date) Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH Form 680)
    • Physical Exam (within the last year)

     Documents needed for School Registration:

    • Proof of Age (child’s ORIGINAL birth certificate or passport)
    • Parent/Guardian photo identification
    • Proof of Guardianship (if applicable)
    • Proof of Broward County Residence (domicile)

    Note: If you share the housing of another person who owns/rents the home, both the registering parent and owner/renter of the residence complete a notarized Affidavit of Shared Residence Form English|Spanish|Haitian/Creole|PortugueseIf you OWN or RENT your residence: Submit one document from both columns A and B:

    • Property tax bill
    • Homestead exemption card
    • Deed
    • Mortgage statement
    • Home purchase contract
    • Notarized lease agreement
    • Utility bill (i.e., electric, water, waste)
    • Telephone or cellular phone bill
    • Verification of Tenancy letter from the homeowners or condominium association
    • Declaration of Domicile Form from the County Records Department
    • Florida drivers license
    • Florida identification card
    • Automobile registration
    • Automobile insurance
    • Credit card statement
    • Two consecutive bank account statements
    • U.S. Postal Service confirmation of address change request

    If you answer “yes” to certain residency questions on the Student Registration Form you may qualify for the HOMELESS Education Program under the McKinney-Vento Act.

    • The school will provide a referral to the district’s Homeless Education Liaison and, if qualified, the student will be eligible for immediate services.
    • Students registered under the McKinney-Vento Act must re-enroll each school year.
