Happy February Fox Trail Families,
January flew by and we are extremely proud of our students for how they performed on their Mid-Year Assessments. These assessments allow our staff to analyze the data and see what we still need to teach and/or reteach in order for our students to reach their highest potential.
We are kicking off February with Take Your Son or Daughter to Work Day on February 1st.
Our Student Council has been selling Candy Grams to spread love and kindness around the school. #sharethelove
PTSA is hosting our annual Bingo and Baskets Night on February 8th beginning at 6:30 in the cafeteria. The Fifth Grade Events team will be selling candy at the event to satisfy your sweet tooth! Thank you in advance for your support. We hope to see you there!
Our iReady Challenge is continuing and our classes are battling it out for the big prize. Winners will be announced on February 19th. Please encourage your child to meet their iReady goal by logging on and completing 45 minutes in Reading with a 70% or higher passing rate.
There is no school on February 18th in observance of President’s Day and there’s an Early Release Day for students on February 21st.
We had a great turn out at last month’s School Advisory Council and School Advisory Forum Meeting. It’s always nice to see some new faces at our gatherings. This month’s meetings will be on February 25th beginning at 2:15 with the SAF meeting following, respectively.
We will be ending the month with a Math Night on February 28th. More information will be forthcoming regarding this event around the middle of February. We hope to see you and your child(ren) there!
We wish you a month filled with love and kindness!
As always, our doors are open for any feedback. We appreciate all you do for our school and students.
Ms. Burgess, Principal
Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. McGreevy, Assistant Principals
