A Day of Service and Love

Names of 17 victims in a heart

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and communities across Broward County will host A Day of Service and Love in commemoration of the 17 loved ones tragically taken and those injured as a result of the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018.

A Day of Service and Love is an early release day that has been designated as a ‘service-learning’ day, for students, staff, and volunteers to come together to support each other through a variety of community service activities at schools across the county.

In addition, on February 14 at 10:17 a.m., BCPS will observe a moment of reflection in honor of the 17 Fallen Eagles.

Broward County Public Schools extends its heartfelt gratitude to all esteemed community partners for their invaluable contributions and unwavering support.
