Middle School Athletics (MSAA)

The Middle School Athletics Office (MSAA) is committed to inspiring and supporting student-athletes through inclusive, forward-thinking leadership and a dynamic interscholastic sports program that enriches their educational experience.

We strive to provide meaningful opportunities for students to compete in a safe and respectful environment—one that values sportsmanship, integrity, and personal development at every level of play.

As a division of Broward County Public Schools, the Middle School Athletic Association (MSAA) helps shape future leaders by promoting teamwork, fair play, and character through athletic competition.

Currently, MSAA oversees sports programs at 59 public and charter middle schools, offering eight exciting sports:

Soccer, Cross Country, Golf, Basketball, Track & Field, Flag Football, Volleyball, and Floorball.

Participation requires student-athletes to maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, underscoring the importance of balancing academic achievement with athletic commitment.
