Head Start Eligibility

The Broward County Public School's Head Start program serves pregnant mothers and children birth to age five. The Head Start program has specific eligibility requirements. Generally, families with incomes at or below the federal poverty guidelines qualify. However, children in foster care, those experiencing homelessness, and families receiving public assistance (like TANF, SSI, or SNAP) are eligible regardless of income.
