Our Committment

The School Board of Broward County, Florida (SBBC), through the Economic Development Opportunities & Compliance Department (EDOC), is committed to conducting business with local and small suppliers and contractors. The EDOC Compliance team ensures District policies and procedures impacting local and small businesses are consistently implemented across schools and departments.

Our Approach

Effective and consistent contract oversight is essential to advancing District goals that support the growth and participation of local businesses. Our team works collaboratively with prime contractors and subcontractors, as well as internal District departments, throughout the entire project lifecycle—from project initiation through closeout. Using our SDOP Management System, EDOC provide timely, accurate insights on project performance and program outcomes, promoting accountability, transparency, and alignment with the District’s overall mission.
