The  B.E.S.T. Standards for English Language Arts (ELA) are  literacy standards for Florida students that will prepare them for a successful future. These resources provide parents information on how to support students at home with the B.E.S.T. Standards.

Parent Guide for Accessing iReady Diagnostic Results

The New Worlds Reading Initiative strives to improve literacy among Florida students by providing families with the tools to read and grow at home.   New Worlds Reading's books and activities support students in strengthening literacy skills, building reading confidence, and nurturing a lifelong love of reading. 

To qualify for New Worlds Reading, students must be:

VPK - 5th graders who are not yet meeting grade level expectations in reading in Florida VPK programs, public schools, and charter schools.
