Electronic Management System (EMS)

The Electronic Management System (EMS) is the platform used in Broward County Public Schools to develop and manage Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) and Educational Plans (EPs). EMS supports teachers and administrators by ensuring compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and providing accurate, timely reporting. In addition, our department collaborates with the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) office for reporting and school audits to maintain accountability and ensure that resources are aligned with student needs.
