Family Empowerment Scholarship - Unique Abilities (FES UA)

The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES UA) provides families of students with disabilities—starting at age three—access to additional educational choices. Families may enroll their child in another public school or receive an education savings account (ESA). ESAs allocate public funds into restricted accounts that families can use for approved expenses such as private school tuition, online programs, tutoring, community college courses, higher education costs, and other individualized learning services or materials.
