 General Worker 

• Description: Perform skilled work necessary for the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate meals. Follow daily work schedules for production, service and cleaning. 
• Qualifications: Resume required.  Food service experience preferred. Two current professional phone references. 

 Cook/Baker IIB  

• Description: Perform skilled work necessary for the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate meals. Follow daily work schedules for production, service and cleaning. Be responsible for meeting production deadlines and assume responsibility for the quality of the products.  
• Qualifications: Resume required.  Food service experience preferred. Two current professional phone references. 

 Cook/Baker IIA

Assistant Manager (Assistant III)

• Description: Perform skilled work in the preparation and service of food that covers all phases of the Food Service operation. Duties include assisting the manager in the total operation of the School Food Service Department.
• Qualifications: General knowledge of quantity food service, sanitation, and nutrition. Basic computer literacy is required. Prior experience in food production in cooking or baking is recommended. Must pass CASAS prior to interview. Two years of food service experience is required.

Qualifications for all positions

• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain and understand recipes and production documentation.
• Ability to communicate and interact with the Food and Nutrition Services Manager, staff and all customers.
• Ability to lift any item up to and including 30lbs.
• Ability to portion, prepare and assemble food items, take temperature of items and complete documentation.
• Ability to follow safe storage procedure of food items.
• Ability to stock and pull items from inventory completing necessary paper work.
• Ability to serve food items during the meal periods.
• Ability to cashier during the meal periods.
• Ability to understand and follow versus serve requirement.
• General cleaning duties including: cleaning of equipment, counters, milk boxes, serving lines and tables, washing pots and pans, removal of trash, sweeping and hosing/mopping all areas.
