Create a Parent Portal Account

The Focus Parent Portal is your gateway to staying connected with your student's educational journey in Broward County Public Schools. For the first time, parents/guardians with multiple students will be able to access all their students in one place. The portal will allow you to monitor your student's academic progress, stay informed of upcoming school and district events, and allow you to communicate directly with your student's teachers.

To create a new Parent Portal account, you will need a valid email address. Connecting each of your enrolled students will require the following information:

Student's full name
Student's ID number (begins with ‘06')
Student's date of birth

If you need assistance with creating an account or connecting your student to your Parent Portal account, please contact your student's school and ask for the school's IMT or Registrar.

What is Focus School Software?

The Focus Integrated Student Information System (SIS) solution puts scheduling, attendance, gradebook and grade reporting, state reporting, and student and parent portal access into one system – improving efficiency by eliminating the need to sync different systems.

Focus is 100% web-based, the most widely used solution for Florida state reporting, a key component in obtaining state and federal funding for our schools. Focus is currently implemented in more than three-fourths of school districts in Florida and five of the largest 10 school districts in the country.
