Code/Art brings engaging, hands-on STEAM workshops directly to schools, inspiring students to explore the intersection of technology, creativity, and design.

Through creative coding and design-thinking activities, students learn foundational programming concepts while using technology as a tool for artistic expression. No prior coding experience is required!

👩‍💻 What Teachers & Students Will Experience

Students participate in an interactive, project-based learning experience led by experienced instructors.

During the workshop, students will:

  • 💻 Learn the fundamentals of coding and programming
  • 🎨 Create original digital artwork using code
  • 🕹️ Design projects such as self-portraits, animations, games, or abstract art
  • 🧠 Practice computational thinking and problem-solving
  • 🤝 Participate in collaborative discussions and activities
  • 🗣️ Share their creations during a final Gallery Walk

Every workshop concludes with a Gallery Walk, giving students an opportunity to:

  • Showcase their digital creations
  • Practice communication and presentation skills
  • Celebrate their classmates' work
  • Reflect on their creative process

💰 Pricing

90-Minute Classroom Workshop

Starting at $700

  • 👥 Designed for up to approximately 30 students
  • 📅 Multiple workshops scheduled on the same day may qualify for discounted pricing
  • 🏫 Multi-session residencies may also qualify for discounted pricing
  • Laptop rentals $100 additional fee

Schools are encouraged to provide student laptops or Chromebooks whenever possible.
