SASP Overview

The Supplemental Arts and Sciences Program (SASP) gives schools the opportunity to enhance student learning through exciting, curriculum-connected field trips and in-school programs!

🎒 Who qualifies?
All elementary schools, middle schools, and alternative/exceptional centers receive a special SASP budget allocation to support these experiences.

🚍 What can the funds be used for?
Schools have the flexibility to use their SASP funds to cover admission fees, transportation costs, and even in-school residency programs offered by approved cultural partners.

🖼️ Where can students go?
SASP field trips include visits to approved museums, cultural institutions, and science centers that align with district curriculum frameworks—ensuring that each experience supports classroom learning in a fun, engaging way.
