Instructions: Find Your Boundary School

To determine which schools are assigned to your home address for Broward County Public Schools, follow these steps:

Open School Locator Tool
Step 1: Select the School Year
Choose the correct year from the dropdown menu. Ensure you select the upcoming year if you are registering for the next fall semester.
Step 2: Enter Your Address
  • Street Address: Enter your house number and street name (e.g., 1234 NW 1st St).

    • Use suffixes for numeric street names (e.g., type "1st," "2nd," "3rd" instead of just "1," "2," "3").

    • Avoid using punctuation like periods (e.g., use "St" instead of "St.").

  • ZIP: Enter your 5-digit zip code.
Step 3: Click Search
Click the "Search" button to process your request.
Step 4: Review Your Results
The system will display your assigned Elementary, Middle, and High schools based on your home address and selected school year.

Pro-Tips & Troubleshooting

  • No Results? Try entering just your house number and street name without "Street" or "Avenue."
  • Apartments: You do not need to include an apartment or unit number.
  • School Choice: These results are your "assigned" schools. To apply for a Magnet, Nova or Reassignment school, visit the BCPS School Choice page.
  • Help Desk: If your address is new or not appearing, you can contact the Demographics & Enrollment Planning Department at boundaries@browardschools.com.
