Community Involvement Awards

Broward County Public Schools Community Involvement Awards (CIA) Ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The CIA was attended by more than 800 individuals who gathered to honor the District’s outstanding family and community engagement initiatives, mentors, partners and volunteers.

This year’s event, emceed by James Griffin, II, Boyd H. Anderson High School Principal, featured student performances from Blanche Ely High School, Coral Glades High School, Dillard 6-12 School, McArthur High School, New Renaissance Middle School, Ramblewood Elementary School, Rock Island Elementary School and West Broward High School. Additionally, the ProStart program from J. P. Taravella High School’s provided a delicious breakfast.
