Food & Nutrition Services

Food and Nutrition Services is committed to providing Broward County students with well-balanced nutritious meals to support student achievement.  Our focus is to aid student learning by educating and serving meals that reinforce lifelong healthy lifestyles.  We encourage our students to POWER-UP with school breakfast, at no charge for all students in all Broward County Schools, and school lunch which provide students the energy they need to learn and grow.

Transportation Services

There are just under 1,000 school buses used by Broward District Schools on daily routes, transporting more than 73,000 students to and from school, and driving more than 16 million miles to 234 locations. This department collaborates with all schools to communicate transportation information to students and parents
