School Transformation Office

The School Transformation Office (STO) manages and supports 22 elementary and 2 center schools across Broward County. The School Transformation Office is dedicated to innovative approaches to provide equitable, high-quality instruction, develop school staff and leaders, foster collaborative school cultures, and promote parent and community partnerships for priority schools. STO collaborates with District departments and school-based teams to provide priority schools with the appropriate support, resources, and strategic interventions necessary to guide school improvement efforts and address students' academic and social-emotional needs.  

The School Transformation Office supports schools by helping coordinate District resources, services and expertise based on each school’s needs. Through the Regional Support Hub model, schools receive more coordinated support through a unified team approach. This means principals and school teams are not expected to navigate multiple District departments independently. Instead, the Regional Office helps connect schools with the appropriate support in areas such as academics, student services, Exceptional Student Education, operations, leadership support, professional learning and other District services.
