Participation: New and returning members must plan and participate in social, college & career activities, fundraising and service activities. Participate in local elementary school tutoring sessions during the class period.
Club Hours Minimum:
1st year in FEA: 25 club hours
2nd year in FEA: 20 club hours
3rd year in FEA: 15 club hours
4th year in FEA: 10 club hours
These funds are used to cover the costs of club shirts, Senior cords, club activities/supplies and donations to worthy causes.
Typical activities include: Foster Home activities, Christmas Boxes for Foster Kids, College visits/activities, Service activities, Social activities, Fundraising activities and Professional activities.
RECOGNITION AT GRADUATION
Senior Cords: Students that have been in Future Educators of America and paid their dues/raised funds and have met club hour requirements will receive a cord at graduation in recognition of their hard work in FEA.
CRITERIA FOR JOINING
The student must…
- be dependable, responsible & trustworthy
- fill out an application
- have a weighted cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
