Financial Aid Information
Students should visit www.fafsa.gov to complete the online FAFSA. Please remember that if a Web site requests credit card information or some other form of payment to complete the FAFSA, then that site is not the official government (FREE) Web site.
Pay close attention to deadlines as you apply for financial aid. State-imposed deadlines for state-funded aid appear on FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.gov. Because schools may have their own deadlines for federal campus-based and school financial aid, students should directly contact financial aid administrators at their prospective schools to determine if schools have their own application forms for aid and to confirm school deadlines.
Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) and correct any errors, if necessary, in the information supplied on the FAFSA. Students can make changes to data on the SAR by visiting FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.gov clicking on ‘View and Print Your Student Aid Report.'
As you begin to apply for financial aid, you should be careful to keep your personal information safe. Please read Save Your Money, Save Your Identity at www.studentaid.ed.gov/pubs pubs to learn ways to reduce the risk of identity theft.
