Sheridan Park Elementary's FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Club is an after school program offered to 4th and 5th Grade students. FLL is based on a project-based learning model aimed at Leadership, Teamwork, Research, Planning, Technology, and Programming.

Students work to prepare their research projects and presentations on a annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) challenge, along with building and programming a robot based on LEGO's MINDSTORMS EV3 software. Robots are used to complete various missions/obstacles on a field set up based also on the annual STEM challenge. These project presentations and robot performances will be judged during local qualifying, regional, and state competitions. Sheridan Park's FLL teams are entering their 13th year in 2018-2019.
