Mr. Neer reviewed the entire safety plan with the SAC members present. He reviewed the opening and closing of the perimeter gates. He reviewed the rotation of the security staff. They did a walk-through of the school and offered recommendations with regarding to locking our doors and indicated that we have to continue to focus on safety and security.
Mr. Neer asked the group if they received a Parentlink call from him earlier in the day. There was an issue with a BB gun being on campus, the day before, and the parentlink was sent to advise parents that the situation was taken care of. The parents present were appreciative of the call and said hearing the message from the principal was a good thing.
