    Introduction to Engineering

The goal of this year long class is to introduce students to the basic concepts of engineering and problem solving. The students complete a variety of hands-on and highly engaging projects.

There are no prerequisites for this class and it is open to all grade levels.

    Principles of Engineering

The goal of this year long course is to give students basic understandings of engineering principles and processes. The students complete a variety of hands-on and highly engaging projects.

The prerequisite for this class is Introduction to Engineering and it is open to all grade levels.

    Aerospace Engineering

This course propels students’ learning in the fundamentals of atmospheric and space flight. As they explore the physics of flight, students bring the concepts to life by designing an airfoil, propulsion system, and rockets. They learn basic orbital mechanics using industry-standard software. They also explore robot systems through projects such as remotely operated vehicles.

The prerequisite for this class is Principles of Engineering.

    Engineering Design & Development

The goals of this class are for students to utilize skills learned in the previous three classes to design, develop, and document engineering projects. The students complete a variety of hands-on and highly engaging projects.

The prerequisite for this class is Aerospace Engineering
