• Dual Enrollment Guidelines

    Students/Parents are strongly encouraged to read all of the guidelines/information prior to applying for the Broward College Dual Enrollment program. 

    All students/parents must adhere to the given guidelines and deadlines - exceptions cannot be made!

    • Grades 6th - 10th

    Students can take ONE class each semester at BC, FAU, or UF Online.  They can take the class on the high school campus (if offered) or on the college campus.

    • Grade 11

    Students can take a total of two classes each semester.  HOWEVER....They can only take ONE class each semester on the BC campus, online through BC, on the FAU campus, online at FAU, or online at UF. They can take the second DE course on your high school campus if you offer DE courses on your high school campus. If you do not have any DE courses on your campus, or if the student is not interested in taking the DE course on your campus then that student would only be allowed to take a total of ONE class each semester on the BC campus, online through BC, on the FAU campus, online at FAU, or online at UF.

    • Grade 12

    Students can take a total of three classes each semester.  HOWEVER....They can only take TWO classes each semester on the BC campus, online through BC, on the FAU campus, online at FAU, or online at UF. They can take the third DE course on your high school campus if you offer DE courses on your high school campus.  If you do not have any DE courses on your campus, or if the student is not interested in taking the DE course on your campus then that student would only be allowed to take a total of TWO classes each semester on the BC campus, online through BC, on the FAU campus, online at FAU, or online at UF.

    • SUMMER TERM

    Students in all grades (rising 6-12) are allowed to take one class during the summer at BC, FAU or FIU.
