Digital Device Distribution

  • In order to ensure that learning continues during the time schools are closed for the COVID-19 Pandemic, teachers will be available to provide assistance/instruction remotely using the Canvas Learning Management System for 3 hours per day. This will begin on March 30th, after our Spring Break from March 23rd through 27th.  Each teacher will notify the students and parents in their class(es) of their designated schedule availability daily.

In order to facilitate student on-line access, we will distribute electronic devices for students in need, on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE-BASIS. Available electronic devices will be distributed to students in kindergarten through fifth grade on Friday, March 20th between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please note that our school only has a very limited number of devices to hand out and priority is being given to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who do not have access already at home. We ask 3rd, 4th & 5th-grade parents to come from 8:00 to 10:00 am on Friday, March 20th then Kindergarten through 5th grade from 10:00 to 2:00.

Devices will be distributed on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE-BASIS to the parent /guardian of the student. The parent/guardian MUST bring a legal photo ID and their child’s student ID number and single sign-on password to pick up a device.  To expedite the device distribution process, parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to complete the required Off-Campus Use Property Pass form ON-LINE PRIOR to coming to school on Friday to request a digital device. Also, if possible, please BYOB – Bring Your Own Bag -  for the device you will be picking up.
